Guidelines for responsible animal placement
The following terms apply to all animal sales from Homestead Haven. By placing a deposit or purchasing an animal, you agree to the policies outlined below. These terms exist to protect the health, welfare, and long-term wellbeing of every animal raised here.
Reservations & Deposits
Animals may be reserved with a non-refundable deposit unless otherwise stated. A deposit secures your chosen animal and holds it until the agreed pickup or transfer date. If a buyer fails to complete the purchase or does not respond within the agreed timeframe, the reservation may be released and the deposit forfeited.
Payment Terms
Full payment must be received before an animal leaves the property unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. Cash is preferred unless otherwise discussed. Payment plans are not typically offered but may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Health & Animal Care
All animals are raised with daily care, appropriate nutrition, and regular health monitoring. To the best of our knowledge, animals leave the homestead in healthy condition. Once an animal leaves the property, the buyer assumes full responsibility for its ongoing care, housing, nutrition, and veterinary needs.
Pickup & Transport
Animals must be picked up at the agreed time unless other arrangements have been made. Buyers are responsible for providing safe and appropriate transport to ensure the animal’s comfort and security during travel.
Refunds & Returns
All sales are final unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to purchase. Due to the nature of live animals, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once an animal has left the property.
Right to Refuse Sale
We reserve the right to refuse a sale at our discretion if we feel an animal will not be placed in a suitable or safe environment. The welfare of the animals always comes first in every decision we make.
